Why it is so important to lobby your MEP
Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) are vital in the fight against Europe's devastating trade deals. They can slow down or even stop Europe's free trade deals altogether - deals that will help big business but bring increased poverty, environmental destruction and misery for hundreds of millions of people. MEPs are also the only part of the EU that is directly accountable to the people of Europe, so they are essential to getting our concerns heard.

EU Working for Women
Mary Honeyball MEP speaks to the (UK) National Alliance of Women's Organisations on the EU, women's representation and lobbying.
